Host an event in your community

 

Community centres and other local venues are an ideal place for friends, family, colleagues and neighbours to get together - over dinner, lunch or a cuppa - to talk and learn about the various stages of perimenopause/menopause - the little-known facts, surprising realities, and range of potential symptoms, support and solutions. It’s a way to celebrate the many wins that come with menopause too.

On Saturday 31 July 2021, Menopause Over Martinis* made its debut as a community event in my neighbourhood: Hataitai, Wellington. The event sold out within a few weeks and was a huge success. If you’re curious, check out my post-event post on Facebook and some of the feedback from guests below.
